First up is Copper Etching, taught by Kate Civiero. Learn to cut metal and use sharpies and a magical chemical process to etch your design into copper. The in class process is supported by a grief book emailed to participants in advance to help them decide what shape of copper object is meaningful to their experience of grief and lost loved one and gentle prompts to create your design.
As a glassblower and metalsmith, I design and create handmade objects. I believe in giving objects significance through deliberate design and thoughtful creation.
