“Before the class I had a few ideas in mind and I’m so pleased with my finished copper ‘key chain’.
Papa bear – my dad and biggest supporter and male role model for my kids, passed away last fall after battling malignant cancer for four months. My dad was a vibrant loving family man and was only 75. He had a good life but it was cut short.
We laid my dads ashes on Manitoulin Island a month or so after he passed away. It was his happy place.
Years ago my two sisters and my mother and I all got a tattoo for my moms birthday – three birds.
I feel like this piece brings our family unit together in a really cool way. I may even plant a tree where we spread his ashes when I visit and use this as a tree ornament.”
